Futsal Kings Launch Street Ballerz
The moment has come where a new face in Street Football has burst onto the scene. Street Ballerz is the work of Futsal Kings founder Daniel Allen, built to be as Daniel describes himself "a platform to express people’s natural flair, creativity and joy".
HOW THIS WORKS
Street Ballerz hosts pickup games in some of the best locations and street courts around the Sydney city area. All ability levels are welcome, as it's a "Space where ballers can play without the pressure to perform and be rigid". Daniel has a strong philosophy around the project "Passio - Gaudium - Desiderium (Passion joy and desire). The 3 elements that create the greatest game in the world". Street Ballerz is filling the desperate need for a social pickup match space in the Street Football community, which may in fact offer a pathway for the best ballers to play for Futsal Kings in Street Football Australia tournaments. "Street Ballerz is about rebuilding community through pop up games like we did as kids where mistakes weren't judged and high risks are praised".
THE VISION
When asked on the vison of Street Ballerz, Daniel had this to say; "Our vision is to bring back street football that can drive back the joy of football on all playing fields whether it be 11, 7 or 5 aside". "We want modern football to remember the roots of where creativity is born through tight space and decisiveness improves unpredictability". Very much hitting on the core pillars of the global street football movement. Daniel wants to bring back the football culture in Sydney. Australia looks at Football as almost a 2nd tier sport, grassroots and down on the ground/streets initiatives like Street Ballerz will make a major impact on reviving that culture. These strong words from Daniel tell you everything you need to know about how much this means to him; "Joy in football best happens when we have the ability to create under pressure and simply do what’s most intuitive to the player. This is where the greatest legends and ballers found their flair. With that, it’s our mission to bring back the culture of football in Sydney where expression is valued over expectation".
