TLDR; Nike has linked up with Street Football Australia to prepare Australia's Official 3v3 National Team and Street Football National Squad with official Socceroo's World Cup kits, customised to the selected athletes.

NIKE LEVELS UP STREET FOOTBALL AUSTRALIA

With the 11v11 World Cup nearing, we saw the launch of some of the nicest World Cup kits, in particular one of our favourites being the Australian Away kit. Little did we know that Nike would custom make this exact kit for the Street Football Australia squad for the coming tournament season. Nike hooked up the 2026 Street Football Australia official 3v3 Australian National Team members; Tomislav Bazdaric (Sydney Street Crew), Asher Rahimi (Sydney Street Crew), & Jack Buterin (Sydney Street Crew) with player issue custom name and numbered Socceroos World Cup kits to accompany them throughout the 2026 calendar 3v3 tournament season. For Street Football this is an anomaly, but if you want to understand "why us right?" all you have to do is deep dive through our entire ecosystem, which is still growing rapidly day by day, and you'll see how we have built and shaped Street Football in Australia, and we will continue to do so to a greater and greater extent. Nike sees this, and we couldn't be more pumped to take this further.

THIS IS A GAMECHANGER

To be completely honest, while the national team gear from Nike is a huge deal, the real victory is the authenticity that this provides Street Football Australia and all the Street Footballers within our overarching ecosystem. For Nike to have the belief in our vision, to have seen what we have built, and to believe it is worthy of repping top of the line Nike gear is nothing but a signal of approval. The best part of all of this.... we aren't even close to where we can and will be, Street Football Australia intends to continue to grow in every conceivable angle and way. This is an honour for Nike to have faith in us and to allow us to wear the Official Australia National Team Kit, which we will wear with pride, and this faith will be repaid in an explosion of the sport at our hands.

TOURING SEASON IS UPON US

As we've reached halfway through 2026, one thing that's on every Street Footballers mind is the impending global tournament season. For the past two years Street Football Australia have represented Australia's Official Street Football and 3v3 team at the 3v3 World Cup. 2024 was an immediate knockout in round one, where year two saw immense improvement leading in a run to the quarter finals. We intend to go further this year. Again the selected Australia squad will represent Australia in the 3v3 World Cup in 2026, as well as some exciting mega events which are soon to be announced. With Nike donning our squad with official Socceroos World Cup kits customised for the Street Football Australia squad, we will stand above the rest off the court. What has been built in Australia by Street Football Australia is world leading in regards to infrastructure, nothing shows that more than Nike looking out for our squad. No other National Team globally has ties with the Sports giants that make their official national team kits, let alone having kits made custom for them for the season, this is a gamechanger which we intend to showcase.

THE FUTURE

If you haven't put it together yet, at Street Football Australia we bleed Street Football. A little known fact is how huge a part Nike played in shaping our image. The Nike Football X ad series, youtube videos, tournaments abroad, and Street Football ecosystem from the early 2010s was a driving force in shaping our perception of what the game could be. I'd argue Street Football was much purer back then, harder hits, grungier tournaments, and an edge that can't be replicated in today's social media filled world. It wasn't for the clips back then. This is where we get our base of what Street Football can be, Nike shaped that in us, and we're over the moon to be able to have a relationship with Nike where they respect what we do. As I said, this is only the beginning, Street Football at our hands will explode in Australia. See you on the court!
