SSC CONTINUE THEIR DOMINANCE!
ARIL 2026, 3V3 (X3) had it's latest major tournament hosted on the rooftops of Ultimo by Street Football Australia. Yet again SYDNEY STREET CREW to the surprise of no one have taken tournament victory. Marking a triumph in every single 2026 showdown or tournament.
SYDNEY STREET CREW JUMP TO A COMMANDING LEAD
Taking everything 2026 has had to offer, SSC have opened up a massive early year lead on the rest of the pack. With a maximum possible reputation of 5250, SYDNEY STREET CREW have a 2450 point gap to 2nd placed North Sydney Futsal Club. An extremely important note of context and perspective as to how Sydney Street Crew have started the year so strong would be that they have competed on the global stage now two years running, with a major placing improvement in the 2025 3v3 World Cup, as well as competing in every single Street Football Australia sanctioned X3 (3v3) event, SSC have an experience gap that is almost impossible to bridge, and the rankings show it. In a welcome return to the podium, North Sydney Futsal Club have stamped their intent non the 3v3 scene in Australia. Following a very impressive early start to the Football Australia NSW Winter Premier League Futsal, sitting in a crazy high 2nd place ahead of many of the so called national Futsal powerhouses, it only makes sense for the form to continue into the smaller form of the game. North Sydney Futsal Club have now jumped into 2nd place in the rankings. It will be interesting to see if they can hold onto the place at the next event. Finishing off the top 3, Indoor5's continue to impress, always finishing on the podium which is no easy task. Indoor5's pushed hard to the end, playing with flair and determination, only to be knocked out by the eventual champions SYDNEY STREET CREW. Indoor5's are sitting in 4th pace on the rankings, equal on rep with Futsal Kings, but behind on results. Overall a great tourament where we saw the return of some great street football clubs, such as Intrinsic Sports.

A NOTE ON HOW TEAMS ARE SELECTED TO COMPETE
We are often asked how the teams are chosen to compete in SFA | Street Football Australia Events & Tournaments. For us it's very simple. We only want the best. You have to be more than a kick around or pickup team to be invited. Sydney Street Crew are invited due to their presence in establishing the scene for the past decade making it what it is, competing globally in 3v3, Pro Futsal, and Pro 7v7. North Sydney Futsal Club are invited due to their immense elite Futsal pedigree. Indoor5's are invited as they run Futsal leagues all over the city of Sydney, offering this as a selective team allowing the best to flow through. East Coast Bulls are invited due to their pedigree in Futsal and small sided competitions, as they are a growing elite presence spanning all of Australia. All of this is to say that we only invite the best, Street Football Australia isn't interested in the casual, we're for Street Football Professionals only. If you want to join, hit us up and we can discuss from there.
