TLDR; The July 27th Street Football Australia X3 Winner Stays Tournament highlighted the massive skill development and tactical growth within the sport over the past year and a half. Sydney Street Crew (SSC) continued their absolute dominance, taking 1st place with 13 wins. The Gladiators had an impressive showing, securing 2nd place with 7 wins and establishing themselves as SSC's strongest challengers.

July 27th Was the latest installment of Street Football Australia's X3 Winner Stys Tournament format. With the top ranked teams all in attendance, this tournament was one of the strongest and most competitive Street Football Australia events to date. After a year and a half of hosting events, the Sydney and Australian Street Football scene has developed into recognisable high level clubs, who all have their own tactics and much deepoer understanding of the sport. Compared to early 2025, the difference is night and day, and this tournament was a major proof of the massive skill development.

RANKING MOVEMENT

After another strong X3 Winner Stays tournament, we saw large swings in Street Football Australia X3 Club rankings. SYDNEY STREET CREW after winning AGAIN have jumped to a monstrous 7250 reputation point lead. To put this reputation point tally into context; SSC managed a total of 10500 points in the 2025 calendar season with a combined 7 X3 events, after 4 (plus a Showdown) they are already at 10250, a simple participation (even last place) result away from equaling their runaway victory from last year. Crazy to see at the halfway point through the year. They've almost certainly locked first place in with half a year to go. We have a new 2nd place in the rankings, GLADIATORS have entered the scene in insane form, taking two second place results on the bounce to secure 2nd place on the ladder. To come into a sport and make those kinds of waves is a huge testament to the strength and determination of the GLADIATORS, they're the strongest challengers to SSC right now. North Sydney Futsal Club did just enough to hold onto their third place in the ladder, finishing just above Futsal kings, which has seen the Kings drop from 2nd to 4th. Coldfront Tekkerz have jumped from the bottom of the table up to a strong 8th position with their respectable 3rd place finish.
