SSC Juniors Launched by Sydney Street Crew
SSC JUNIORS
The latest addition to the SFA | Street Football Australia ecosystem. Set up by Sydney Street Crew to act as a feeder club to welcome new talent to the higher level of the sport. While being framed as a feeder club, the intention isn't for SSC Juniors to hover at the middle end to bottom of the table, the genuine push is for this club to challenge at the top, these boys will want to break their way into the top squad, this is their way to do it, so high placements in tournaments is not only a goal, iit's expected from day one.
THE MATCH + RESULT
In a high intensity and overall extremely promising first match and welcome to the sport, SSC Juniors narrowly lost 7-8 to the vastly more experienced Sydney Street Crew, showcasing that SSC Juniors have elite potentail and a future in the street football scene. SSC Juniors took advantage of having Serkan Seven in the squad, who has seen and played against the best in the World while on tour with Sydney Street Crew at the 2025 World Cup in Qingdao, allowing the new faces of Luka Markovic and Jack Matovinovic to be immediatly taught the high level meta of 3x3 Street Football, bridging the gap immediately.
THE FUTURE
The overall plan is to build out a stronger base for Sydney Street Crew. Having dominated the scene in Australia, international opportunities are coming fast, meaning they need to have the larger depth in order to be able to always have a squad to take the court wherever the tournament is in the world. This is a mutually benefitial system for both Sydney Street Crew, SSC Juniors, and the players within. Genuine opportunity is rare, this is SSC's way of sharing with those who deserve it!
