STREET FOOTBALL IN SYDNEY

Before Sydney Street Crew, Street Football didn't exist in Sydney, nor Australia. One of the main reasons Sydney Street Crew was created was to establish a Sydney and later Australian scene, which they have very much succeeded at. Hosting pick-up matches and tournaments throughout Sydney since 2017, Sydney Street Crew built interest in the sport which has grown the sport of Street Football to what it currently is today.

BACKED BY MAJOR BRANDS

What Sydney Street Crew have built in Sydney hasn't gone unnoticed, major brands such as Nike, EA Sports, DAZN, Optus Sports, Western Sydney Wanderers, and more have all backed Sydney Street Crew though major media integration. EA Sports used SSC as the national ad campaign for the new FIFA Street Game mode Volta, by showcasing the Street Football Community and movement that Sydney Street Crew have built in Sydney. Western Sydney Wanderers (one of Australia's most successful Professional Football Clubs) have used Sydney Street Crew in their own national ad campaigns, including having Sydney Street Crew athletes front and center with professional footballers and voicing over entire ads. Nike have always backed Sydney Street Crew as they are the faces of Street Football in not only Sydney, but also Australia. Flying them all over the country, even in private jets, linking the athletes up with Nike gear, and so much more. Documentaries have been aired live on Optus Sports streaming platform between English Premier League matches, showcasing Street Football in Sydney, and how Sydney Street Crew alone have fostered the entire movement and community and continue to do so. These major brands see the work that Sydney Street Crew have put in, and the majorly positive result it has had for Street Football in Sydney and Australia as they are the gatekeepers to the scene, all goes through Sydney Street Crew.
